StartUp Organizer 2.8 is the latest released version of this shareware product by MetaProducts corp. There is a trial demo available for downloading directly from the developer's website. From the Main Window, we can see in a tree-like structure the following folder: All programs, Startup menu, and Registry. They can be opened giving access to All users, Current user, Win.INI, Controlled StartUp, etc. We can fully manage the programs shown on the main screen. For example, we can add or remove a program to/from any of the autostart categories, add a program to multiple users at once, change properties of a selected program, read configuration from the system, see monitor changes, cut, copy and paste a selected program to the clipboard, run, print configuration and many more. The StartUp Guard wizard displays non-standard ways to activate applications fixing them if necessary. This utility can repair Explorer startup, Winstart.bat file, and Executable files start, very important to stop Trojan programs and other viruses from changing them. It runs under Windows 9x, NT, ME, 2000 and XP operating systems. |
